QPD. CQPD air disc brake

● Operating Condition" Ambient temperature: -20°C~+60°C ;
● Operation Air Pressure (max): 7 bar;
● Air requirement: dry and filtered compressed air, excluded corrosion gas.
● Installation: the brake is either horizontally mounted or vertically mounted. When it is used at horizontal shaft, the brake can be positioned within any angel around the disc, but ideally they should be mounted horizontally (in 3 org o’s clock position); when it is applied at vertical shaft, angle is no required. Each disc can be fitted either one brake or two and more. When two or more brakes are applied, symmetrical installation is required.

2.Application:
QPD. CQPD air disc brake are widely used for speed reduction, stop/braking of the low or medium torque driving mechanism. The brakes can also be applied as tension brake on winding machinery, such as : paper-web tension control, news paper publishing tension control, steel unwind control, wire and cable reel unwind tension etc.

3.Main Feature:
● QPD is to brake by spring, to release by pneumatic; CQPD is air brake, to release by spring.T
● The structure is simple, small size and light weight
● Non-asbestos brake pads;
● brake pads are mounted with spring load card, easy and quick to replace.
● It needn’t mount power source alone, it can be connected with air station.
