Working principle of the electromagnetic disc brake
The motor brake is installed on the end cover of the non-shaft extension end of the motor. When the brake motor is powered on, the brake motor also works at the same time. Due to electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnet attracts the armature and compresses the spring. The brake disc is removed from the armature end cover, and the brake motor starts to run.
When the power is off, the electromagnet of the brake motor loses its magnetic attraction, and the spring pushes the armature to press against the brake disc. Under the action of friction torque, the brake motor immediately stops running.
