JZ Series Electrical Magnetic Brakes represent a line of products that utilize electromagnetic principles to achieve braking functionality.

Energized Release: When current is applied to the brake's electromagnetic coil, a strong magnetic field is generated around the coil. Under the influence of the magnetic field, the armature inside the brake is attracted by electromagnetic force, overcoming the spring's elastic force and quickly engaging. As the armature engages, it pushes the connected screw to move, which further drives the brake arms on both sides to open, achieving brake release. At this point, the mechanical device or transmission shaft being braked can rotate or operate freely.
De-energized Brake Application: When the brake's power supply is cut off, the current in the electromagnetic coil disappears, and the magnetic field also disappears. Without the influence of the magnetic field, the armature is no longer attracted by electromagnetic force. Under the action of the spring's elastic force, the armature is pulled back to its initial position. The return of the armature drives the brake arms back to the closed position through the screw, causing the brake pads to tightly grip the brake wheel or other braking components. Relying on the friction between the brake pads and the brake wheel, a braking torque is generated, causing the mechanical device or transmission shaft to stop rotating or decelerate rapidly, thereby achieving braking functionality.
