◇Maintenance:
Special attention should be paid to the following items when checking:
(1) Whether all hinged points are worn;
(2) Whether the mechanism movement of the brake is normal and all the adjusting nuts are locked;
(3) Whether the lifting height of the thruster accord with the regulation in table1;
(4) Whether the operation of the thruster is normal, whether the hydraulic oil is sufficient, whether there is oil leakage or seepage and whether the insulation of the entry line is good;
(5) Lubrication should be made to the hinged pins before application when the brake has been stored for more than half year;
(6) The pin or spindle of heavy duty brake drum should be renewed if the wear exceeds5% of the original diameter of the elasticity;
(7) Whether the brake shoes normally adhere to the brake drum, whether the condition of the frictional surface is perfect and whether there is any greasy or dirty trace. when the thickness of the brake linings reaches timing value(the thickness of convex bed is excluded for the linings of insertion type),they must be replaced with new ones.
