Working Principle
- When power is applied to the brake, the electromagnetic coil generates a magnetic field, which attracts the armature and releases the brake pads from the brake disk. This allows the lifting equipment to operate freely.
- When power is cut off, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature is spring-loaded to press the brake pads against the brake disk, creating friction and stopping the lifting equipment.
