DCPZ series DC electromagnetic disc brake is a lightweight integrated caliper brake specially developed for precision automated equipment and compact layout machinery. Different from bulky electromagnetic drum brakes, it adopts slim caliper disc structure with tiny installation footprint, driven by stable DC electromagnet without hydraulic oil or air compression auxiliary systems. Built-in automatic friction pad wear compensation mechanism and spring fail-safe design: power on to release the brake disc; power cut off, internal high-strength springs instantly clamp the disc for safety holding. Widely matched with wire/cable winding machines, textile printing equipment, AGV trolleys, small servo cranes and precision packaging production lines.

Reliable power-off fail-safe safety performance

Spring-applied normally closed design. Once DC power supply fails, circuit trips or emergency shutdown occurs, the brake instantly locks the disc with stable static torque. Prevent AGV trolley drift, winding machine material loose slipping and small crane load falling. Optional travel limit switches feed back brake open/closed signals to realize PLC safety interlock control.
