2. Working Principle (Normally Closed Fail-Safe Design)

Classic spring-applied fail-safe structure, complying with JB/T7020-2006 & DIN15435 standard:

Power-off / Parking Braking: Main compression springs drive two brake calipers to clamp the Φ630×30 brake disc tightly, output fixed braking torque for equipment stop and anti-slip protection; auto emergency locking during sudden power failure.

Power-on / Brake Release: ED1250-60 thruster energizes, piston extends to overcome spring preload, push brake arms open two friction pads away from disc, disc rotates freely without friction drag.

Built-in automatic pad wear compensation & equal clearance device, keeps consistent brake gap automatically in long-term operation.
