Matched with YT1-18Z/2 electro-hydraulic thruster, the brake adopts a mature normally-closed safety design: hydraulic pressure releases the brake for normal operation, while power failure or system outage triggers instant spring braking to prevent equipment sliding and load falling.

This YWZ4-100/18 brake features self-lubricating hinge structure that eliminates frequent manual greasing, greatly reducing daily maintenance workload and operational costs.
