Structure & Working Principle
Integrated design: Explosion-proof motor + centrifugal pump + cylinder + pushrod; flameproof housing with sealed joints and certified cable glands.
Operation:
Power-on: Motor drives the impeller to generate pressure, lifting the piston/pushrod to compress the brake spring (release brake).
Power-off: Impeller stops; piston descends under spring/gravity, oil returns, and the brake engages.
Key Advantages
Flameproof safety: Exd I certification for coal mine use; flameproof joints and sealed housing prevent ignition sources.
Compact & efficient: Self-contained oil tank eliminates external piping; low power consumption and fast response.
Durable: F-class insulation, corrosion-resistant shafts, and double seals for long service life.
Dual-duty: Suitable for S1 continuous or S3 intermittent (≤60% duty cycle) operation.
Applications
Primary: Actuate YWZ/BYWZ series block brakes and drum/disc brakes for mine belt conveyors, hoists, and underground transport vehicles.
Secondary: Operate valves, ratchets, and levers in coal mines (install in dedicated chambers).
Industries: Mining, metallurgy, and heavy material handling with explosive risks.
Installation & Maintenance
Installation:
Mount on a rigid base; align pushrod with the brake lever to avoid lateral loads.
Use certified explosion-proof cables and proper grounding; keep flameproof surfaces clean and undamaged.
Fill with clean ISO VG 32/46 hydraulic oil to the level mark; bleed air before commissioning.
Maintenance:
Daily: Check oil level, leaks, and abnormal noise; clean the surface and air breather.
6 months: Inspect oil quality; replace if degraded/contaminated.
12 months: Overhaul seals, check motor insulation (≥2 MΩ), and verify flameproof joint gaps.
Never modify flameproof components or use non-approved parts.
