In accordance with the requirements of the crane safety regulations, the brakes should be checked regularly. During the installation, commissioning and use of the brake, special attention should be paid to the following adjustments:
1.Adjustment of braking torque: The braking torque must be adjusted according to the specified requirements. It is the most basic work during the installation and debugging of the brake and during the work period (check whether there is a change).
2. Adjustment of the working stroke of the driving device: The working stroke of the brake driving device should be adjusted under the working environment temperature, and the value of its rated working stroke is indicated in the product manual or on the driving device.
3. Adjustment of the compensation mechanism: The brake is equipped with an automatic compensation mechanism for brake pad wear (compensation mechanism for short), which can eliminate the frequent adjustment of the working stroke of the driving device during the use of the brake. However, the compensation mechanism should be adjusted and reliably fixed, otherwise when the brake pad is worn and the working stroke of the driving device is not adjusted in time, the braking force will be lost.
4. Adjustment of clearanc: After the working stroke of the brake driving device is adjusted, the total back distance of the brake pad is also determined accordingly.
