The YWZ4-150/E23 is a heavy-duty normally closed electro-hydraulic drum brake widely used on bridge cranes, gantry cranes, belt conveyors, and winch trolleys. It uses a spring for braking and an Ed23/5 electro-hydraulic thruster for release - the most proven and economical brake solution in Chinese crane industry for 20+ years.
It is the recommended upgrade over legacy YWZB models: improved equal-clearance mechanism, self-lubricating hinges, and torque scale indicator on the spring rod.
