The YWZ5-160/E23 electro-hydraulic drum brake is a reliable spring fail-safe braking unit matched with ED23/5 electro-hydraulic thruster. It adopts normally closed working principle: hydraulic pressure releases the brake for equipment operation, while the built-in powerful springs automatically engage braking once power fails to prevent load falling and equipment sliding.
Designed with interlocking equal-clearance linkage structure, it maintains uniform gap between brake shoes and brake wheel, effectively avoiding unilateral lining dragging, local overheating and uneven wear. All pivot joints are fitted with self-lubricating bearings, removing the need for frequent manual greasing and cutting daily maintenance costs. The braking torque can be adjusted flexibly to satisfy different load requirements. An optional automatic friction lining wear compensation device is available to sustain steady braking performance over long-term operation.
Manufactured according to JB/T6406 industry standard with rigid cast steel frame, this brake delivers smooth, low-noise and consistent braking force. Featuring universal mounting dimensions, it is easy to install and ideal for retrofitting old braking equipment.
