YWZ5 Series Electro-hydraulic Drum Brakes are mature standard spring normally closed braking equipment manufactured in accordance with JB/T6406 industrial standard, supporting matching ED series electro-hydraulic thrusters.Adopting spring fail-safe principle: hydraulic pressure releases the brake for equipment normal operation; once power supply fails, built-in compression springs trigger instant braking to prevent load falling and equipment sliding.

The brake is equipped with interlocking equal-clearance linkage structure, which keeps uniform gap between brake shoes and brake wheel, effectively avoids unilateral friction lining dragging, overheating and uneven wear. All pivot joints adopt self-lubricating bearings to eliminate frequent manual greasing and reduce long-term maintenance cost. The braking torque can be freely adjusted according to working conditions, and the automatic friction lining wear compensation device is optional to maintain constant stable braking torque under long-time continuous operation.

With thick cast steel integral frame, high structural rigidity and strong vibration resistance. Standard universal mounting dimensions support convenient installation and quick replacement for old equipment renovation. Widely used in overhead cranes, gantry cranes, belt conveyors and various light & medium-duty industrial hoisting and conveying machinery.

The YWZ5-160/E23 electro-hydraulic drum brake is a reliable spring fail-safe braking unit matched with ED23/5 electro-hydraulic thruster.
