Product Overview

ZWZB-400/500 electromagnetic drum brake is a normally closed power-off safety brake driven by high-performance DC electromagnet. It follows the working principle of spring braking, electromagnetic release. Compared with traditional AC electromagnetic brakes, the DC driving structure delivers more stable suction, lower continuous working temperature rise and no impact current, adapting to long-term high-frequency cyclic operation.

When the system is powered on, the DC electromagnet generates steady magnetic force to pull the armature, compress the main spring and release the brake shoes from the drum, allowing mechanical equipment to operate freely. Once power failure, power cut or circuit fault occurs, the electromagnet loses magnetism instantly. The high-strength main spring rapidly pushes the brake shoes to clamp the 400mm brake drum tightly, realizing emergency braking and long-term load locking.

Equipped with synchronous shoe retraction and gap balancing mechanism, this brake maintains consistent braking clearance during long-term operation.
