The YT1-18ZB/2 is a high-reliability electro-hydraulic thruster from the YT1 series, featuring a modular integrated design, sensitive response, and stable thrust output. Its core logic relies on converting electrical energy into hydraulic energy and then into linear mechanical force, serving as a key power source for industrial braking and control mechanisms. It is widely used in various industrial equipment requiring precise drive or brake control.

1. Working Principle
The thruster integrates a three-phase AC motor, hydraulic pump, cylinder, reservoir, and piston push rod into one unit. It completes linear thrust output and reset through "electric-hydraulic drive + spring reset," with the working process divided into two core stages:
1.1 Thrust Output (Power-On Stage)
When connected to the rated power supply (common voltage: 380V AC), the built-in three-phase asynchronous motor starts, driving the integrated gear pump to rotate at high speed.
The hydraulic pump draws anti-wear hydraulic oil (ISO VG46) from the built-in reservoir, pressurizes it to 8–12 MPa, and delivers it to the single-acting hydraulic cylinder.
Hydraulic pressure pushes the piston and the connected push rod to extend linearly, outputting a rated thrust of 18 kN. The push rod travels a rated stroke of 20 mm (model suffix "2" indicates 20 mm stroke), and transmits force to the matched mechanism (e.g., brake release linkage) through the top connector, completing actions such as brake release.
The rated extension time is ≤0.4 seconds, ensuring rapid response to equipment operation signals.
1.2 Reset (Power-Off Stage)
When the power is cut off or the control signal is terminated, the motor stops running, and the hydraulic pump ceases pressure supply. The built-in pressure relief valve opens, and hydraulic oil flows back to the reservoir.
The return spring (60Si2MnA alloy steel) in the cylinder rebounds, pulling the piston and push rod back to the initial position. The thrust is fully released, and the matched brake or control mechanism resets under its own spring force to achieve braking or locking.
The rated retraction time is ≤0.35 seconds, enabling quick braking response and ensuring equipment safety.
1.3 Stability & Safety Guarantees
Pressure Stabilization Design: A built-in pressure compensator maintains consistent system pressure, ensuring stable thrust output even with minor load fluctuations.
Overload Protection: The motor is equipped with F-class insulation and a thermal protector, which cuts off power when the temperature exceeds 155°C to prevent burnout due to prolonged overload.
Anti-Leakage Structure: The cylinder adopts FKM high-pressure seals and a welded reservoir, with an IP54 protection rating for the whole machine, effectively resisting dust and light water splashes.
