1. Adjustment of tile retreat distance
Adjusting the distance between the pads is actually adjusting the stroke of the pusher. In the brake, loosen the lock nut and tighten the brake lever clockwise to increase the compensation stroke of the pusher, and vice versa. Just adjust the compensation stroke hc to a specified value. If the compensation stroke of the pusher is adjusted too much, it is necessary to unscrew the compensation fastening bolt and take out the compensation sleeve. At this time, the shifting pin is not hindered by the triangular plate and can freely rotate counterclockwise. At this time, you can loosen the brake lever counterclockwise again, and finally recover and readjust the compensation stroke and automatic compensation device.

2, the adjustment of tile back distance equal
Generally, the device for equalizing the pad retreat distance does not need to be adjusted, but only after the initial installation or reinstallation. The method is to manually or electrically open the brake and observe the pad retreat distance on the left and right. If the retreat distance of the right tile is greater than that of the left tile, loosen the left set nut and turn the adjusting bolt clockwise (or loosen the right set nut and turn the adjusting bolt counterclockwise) to observe the change of the retreat distance of the left and right tiles. If not, continue until it is equal. The equalizing lever should be in a roughly horizontal state, otherwise, it is necessary to move the position of the brake base to make the brake centerline roughly coincide with the brake wheel centerline.

3. Adjustment of braking torque

The adjustment of braking torque is very simple, just adjust the torque nut. Generally, the spring length of the torque adjusting nut is shortened and the braking torque is increased by turning it clockwise with a wrench, and vice versa. The length of the spring should not exceed the upper and lower lines on the torque scale, otherwise, it is likely to damage the spring, cause the brake to fail and even cause safety accidents!
4. Adjustment of automatic compensation device for brake pad wear
(1) Push the compensation device to the bottom (contact with the lower surface of the inner ring of the compensation sleeve).
(2) Tighten the set bolt until its lower end face is outside the inner ring of the compensation sleeve.
(3) Manually or automatically lift the pusher push rod, and at this time, the push pin is brought up. Then manually release or power off the pusher, so that the pusher will be reset under the action of the braking spring, and the position of the pin will be pressed down a little.
(4) Screw down the fixing bolt until the lower end face of the bolt basically contacts with the pin, and then tighten the fastening nut.
The automatic compensation device has been adjusted so far.
The adjustment of the double-beam service brake should be carried out according to the work requirements, not too loose or too tight.
