DCPZ-300 Electromagnetic Caliper Disc Brake
✔ Normally Open - Power ON = Clamp, Power OFF = Release: DCPZ-300 is a spring-release, DC-electromagnet-apply disc brake. With no power, the caliper pads retract and the disc rotates freely. Energize the DC coil → electromagnetic force + assist spring close both arms → pads clamp the Ø300 disc. Designed for work-holding, tensioning, indexing, and positioning - the disc-brake equivalent of the CQP-A pneumatic logic, but driven purely by electricity.
✔ Zero Air, Zero Oil, Pure Electric Control: No compressor, no air tank, no pneumatic valves, no hydraulic thruster, no oil seals. Just 24V / 110V / 220V DC wiring. Cleanroom-ready, lab-safe, food & pharma compatible - no oil mist, no exhaust noise, no condensation drip.
✔ Fast Response - ~0.10s Clamp / ~0.10s Release: Electromagnetic actuation is inherently faster than pneumatic (no air-line fill time) and hydraulic (no oil flow delay). 0.1s-level action suits high-cycle automation and servo-controlled stopping.
Products Description
The DCPZ-300 Series is a range of normally open electromagnetic caliper disc brakes built for work-holding and positioning - the electromagnetic, disc-type counterpart to the CQP-A pneumatic caliper. Same "air-on-to-clamp" philosophy, but actuated by a DC electromagnet instead of compressed air.
