ZWZA200-160 Electromagnetic Drum Brake

Normally closed. Main spring (in closed tube, dust-proof) holds 160 N·m at JC25% / 128 N·m at JC40%. MZZ1-200 DC electromagnet only to RELEASE. Blackout / E-stop / contactor drop → spring clamps Ø200 drum. No AC hum, no hydraulic oil, no air line - the classic DC fail-safe logic of legacy mine hoists.
✔ Drop-in Replacement for Old ZWZ Series
ZWZA is the modernized successor of ZWZ / ZWZ2 DC drum brakes. Base dimensions, center height, wheel Ø200, and lever geometry follow JB/ZQ4388 - same bolt pattern as thousands of in-service 1980s–2000s DC cranes, winches, and hoists. No foundation re-drill, no shaft modification.
✔ Equal-Clearance Interlock + Self-Aligning Shoes
Interlocking shoe-retraction equalizer keeps both-side clearance symmetric (auto, no manual tweak). Shoe self-aligning device prevents one-side lining drag. Armature self-seating device keeps magnet gap stable → consistent torque over life.

The ZWZA200-160 is a DC electromagnetic drum brake of the ZWZA family - the legacy-retrofit workhorse for DC-driven lifting, mining, port, and metallurgy equipment. Where MWZ200-160 is the modern energy-saving DC brake (dual-current 2A/0.02A, 1200 cyc/h) and JZ-200 is the AC energy-saving version, ZWZA200-160 is the faithful old-spec DC brake: single-current MZZ1-200 magnet, ≤720 cyc/h, JB/ZQ4388 dimensions, built to keep 30-year-old DC hoists running with zero redesign.
It is not the highest-frequency or lowest-heat magnet on the market - it is the most familiar, most interchangeable, most spare-friendly DC brake for legacy plants.
