2. Working Principle

Braking state

Step down the foot pedal to push the hydraulic master cylinder. Hydraulic pressure transmits through oil pipelines to the brake caliper assembly, driving brake shoes to clamp tightly on the 200 mm brake drum. Friction torque is generated to slow down or lock the rotating drum.

Release state

Release the foot pedal. The built-in return springs pull the brake shoes back to the original position, forming a gap between linings and drum. The brake is fully released, and the equipment can run normally.

Braking force can be adjusted by controlling the stepping depth of the pedal.
