Crane brake is a very important part of lifting equipment, and its use precautions mainly include the following aspects:
1. Daily inspection and adjustment:
The brake of the operating mechanism should be checked once a day, while the brake of the lifting mechanism should be checked once per shift. In the inspection process, attention should be paid to whether the action of the moving parts is normal, the wear between the brake wheel and the brake belt, and whether there is wear and jammed at the hinge. At the same time, it should also check whether the fastening parts are loose and whether the hydraulic system is normal.
In order to ensure the normal operation of the brake, it should be regularly maintained and lubricated, and adjusted. The adjustment sequence is usually to adjust the brake clearance first, then adjust the brake torque, and finally adjust the manual device. After the adjustment is completed, a comprehensive check should be carried out before the operation to ensure that the adjustment is correct, and check whether the locking nut of each part is locked and whether the driver connection is correct.
2, safety performance and trial operation:
If there is a dent or scratch on the brake wheel surface larger than 2mm, it should be reworked immediately according to the standard. At the same time, the working temperature of the working surface of the brake wheel should not exceed 200 ° C, and should often be cleaned with kerosene to prevent oil pollution causing the brake wheel to slip.
After the adjustment is completed, the brake should be no-load test run on the main engine several times, so that the brake liner and the brake wheel or the fixed part of the motor are well fitted.
3, other parts inspection:
Brake arm, ejector rod, frame tie rod, main and auxiliary spring and other components should not crack and permanent deformation. Anchor bolts, locking nuts and their locking parts should not be damaged or fall off.
If the brake wheel temperature is found to be too high or the brake belt is smoking, it may be due to improper brake installation and adjustment. At this point, check and make sure that all brake bands are removed from the brake wheel when the brake is opened.
4. Operation specifications:
The control device that operates the brake, such as the pedal, the control handle, etc., should have anti-skid performance. The force exerted by the hand on the control handle of the control control device should not exceed 160N, and the force exerted by the foot on the pedal of the control control device should not exceed 300N.
To sum up, in order to ensure the safe and effective operation of the crane brake, it is necessary to follow the above precautions for use, and carry out regular inspection, adjustment and maintenance. In the process of use, if any abnormality or problem is found, the use should be stopped immediately, and the corresponding treatment or maintenance.
