Why do brakes react slowly?

Jan 17, 2022

The reasons why the brakes react slowly are probably in the following aspects:

1. The free distance of the pedal is too far.

2. There is too little brake fluid in the brake master cylinder, or the holes are blocked by impurities, and the parts of the master cylinder are aging and swelled, or even deformed or trampled.

3. The parts of the brake master cylinder are worn so badly that the oil leaks loose, the oil return valve is not sealed well, and the spring of the oil outlet valve is broken.

4. The parts of the brake cylinder are aging and swollen, the piston is blocked, and the living parts of the cylinder are worn out, causing the connection to be loose and oil to leak.

5. The brake shoes are severely worn, and the brake clearance is relatively large or the clearance is not installed properly.

6. The brake drum is not round, causing grooves or wear, the outside of the brake shoe is stained with oil, burnt and rotted, and the rivets are more obvious.

7. There is oxygen in the brake system, or the temperature inside the brake is too high, and the brake fluid in the pipeline is vaporized, causing air resistance.

8. The oil pipe is not round, the connection is not too tight, oil leaks, the hose is aged, broken or blocked by impurities.
