QW, QWZ5 SERIES PNEUMATIC DRUM BRAKES

APPLICATION
●QW, QWZ5 series pneumatic drum brakes can be extensively used for various mechanisms deceleration and stop/braking of varioushoisting, belt transport, port handling, metallurgical and building machinery which are equipped with pneumatic source on site.

MAIN FEATURE
●Interlocking shoe clearance balancing device and shoe auto-aligning device constantly equalize the clearance of brake shoes on both sides and make adjustment unnecessary, completely avoiding brake lining one side sticking to brake wheel.
●Main hinge points are equipped with self-lubricating bearing, making high fficiency of transmission, long service ife.
Lubricating is unnecessary during operation.
●Enclosed spring tube protects spring from damage and contamination.
●Brake lining is of card-mounted and entirely-shaped structure, which is easy and quick to replace.
Brake lining of various materials such as semi-metal (non-asbestos) hard and half-hard, soft (non-asbestos) substance are available for customer to choose.
●New type of air cylinders are adopted, which work acutely and have long life.
●Brake closes in case of power failure (Fail-Safe Principle). Braking by spring power. Pneumatic release.

ST ANDARDS COMPL IANT
●The dimensions and braking torque parameters of QW series brakes comply with JB/T6406- 2006 and DIN15435 standard, technology requirements comply with JB/T6406.2006 standard (Table1).
●The dimensions and braking torque parameters of QWZ5 series brakes comply with GB6333-86 standard, technology requirements comply with JB/T6406-2006 standard (Table2).

●Ambient temperature: -20℃ - +50℃
●Relative humidity:≤90%
●Operating air pressure: 0.5-0.7Mpa
●Operating duty: intermittent (S3- 60%, 1200times per hour) and continuous(S1)
●Special requirements can be discussed before production.

●Brake lining of various materials are available for choice, including half-metal (no-asbestos) hard and half-hard,soft (include asbestos) substance.
●Limit switches and monitoring devices for (K1orK2 ).
●Hand release lever(S1or S2 ).
●K3 Lining-wear limit-switch, equipped which signals will shown wear of lining reaches the limit.
( note: self -compensation device should be equipped in applicationM).
●Wear- self-compensation device (M), which realizes endless self- compensation of shoe clearance and torque when lining wears.
