Operating Principle

• When the hydraulic pump is activated, it supplies hydraulic fluid under pressure to the hydraulic cylinder. The control valves direct the flow of this fluid to either side of the piston, causing it to move in the desired direction. For example, if fluid is directed to the left side of the piston, the piston will move to the right, extending the rod of the cylinder. Conversely, if fluid is directed to the right side, the piston will move to the left, retracting the rod.
• In the event of a blast, the blast-resistant housing protects the internal components from the direct impact of the blast wave.
