It adopts classic fail-safe logic: hydraulic pressure only opens the rail clamp, and the rail clamp automatically grips the track by spring force once power or pressure is lost. Equipped with pressure regulation, overpressure protection, filter and complete electrical terminal structure, it supports signal interlock with limit switches and crane travelling control system, which is the standard hydraulic supporting equipment for port storm anti-runaway safety systems.

2. Product Overview

YZG14-8 cabinet-type hydraulic power pack integrates oil tank, motor, hydraulic pump, valve group and filter into one unit. It outputs controlled hydraulic oil to the oil cylinder of YJGQ rail clamp to overcome spring preload and realize rail clamp release. Reserved wiring terminals realize electrical interlock protection: the crane travelling circuit cannot be activated before the limit switch sends out the full-release signal of rail clamp.

All sealing parts adopt high-quality wear-resistant materials to reduce oil leakage. 6. Working Principle

Crane Travel State (Rail Clamp Released)

When the crane needs to travel, the control circuit energizes the YZG14-8 hydraulic power unit. The hydraulic pump outputs regulated pressure oil and delivers it to the cylinder of YJGQ rail clamp. Hydraulic force overcomes spring preload and pushes the clamping jaws to open. After the limit switch detects that the rail clamp is fully released and sends confirmation signal, the crane travelling circuit is unlocked through interlock, and the crane can move normally.

Standby / Power Failure / Storm State (Rail Clamp Clamped)

When the crane stops, power supply fails or hydraulic system shuts down, the hydraulic pressure disappears rapidly. The built-in high-strength spring group of rail clamp drives jaws to tightly grip the rail automatically. The hydraulic power unit cannot maintain the released state of rail clamp without pressure, realizing mandatory fail-safe windproof locking and preventing crane sliding and runaway accidents in strong wind.
