YT1-90Z/6 Brake Pusher | 900N 60mm Stroke
YT1-90Z/6 electro hydraulic thruster is a vertical integrated hydraulic driving unit of YT1 classic series. It is widely used as the core power actuator for YWZ, YWR, YLB series drum brakes and various industrial braking systems. With compact structure, stable thrust output and reliable power-off reset performance, it is the most cost-effective standard brake pusher for cranes, conveyors and general industrial machinery safety braking.

Our Products
YT1-90Z/6 electro hydraulic thruster adopts an all-in-one integrated design of motor, centrifugal hydraulic pump and oil cylinder. Without external oil pipes and auxiliary devices, this unit realizes automatic hydraulic extension when powered on and rapid spring reset when power off.
When energized, the built-in motor drives the hydraulic pump to build internal pressure, pushes the piston rod to extend steadily, and releases the spring-closed brake smoothly. Once power failure occurs, hydraulic pressure disappears instantly, and the piston rod retracts automatically under brake spring force to complete emergency braking. Featuring IP54 protection grade, B-class insulation and low failure rate, this thruster adapts to long-term cyclic operation in dusty, humid and outdoor working sites. It is a direct replacement for old-fashioned hydraulic pushers and perfectly matches most domestic and international standard drum brake systems.

Working Principle
Energize → push out (brake release):
Motor starts → centrifugal impeller/pump rotates → oil is pushed from upper chamber to lower chamber → piston and push rod rise → brake lever compresses the brake spring and opens the shoe.
De-energize → retract (brake apply):
Motor stops → hydraulic pressure disappears → brake main spring + piston weight push the piston down → oil returns to upper chamber → push rod retracts → brake closes.
Because Z = no built-in load spring, YT1-90Z/6 relies on the connected brake/valve mechanism for return force.

Installation
Check nameplate thrust, stroke and voltage.
Unit is oil-free at factory - fill pure hydraulic oil to oil-level hole; jog the push rod up/down several times to bleed air.
Mount vertically, rod upward; inclination ≤ ±15°.
Connect lower clevis to brake lever with pin; connect upper rod to brake/pull rod.
Push rod must not carry radial load; thruster body should be free to swing slightly.
Confirm supply matches nameplate before wiring.
Non-explosive area only. For gas/dust zone use explosion-protected thruster (e.g. BYT1-90Z/6.Ex / YT1-90ZB/6).
