Product Overview

YJGQ-31 hydraulic rail clamp is a professional static storm protection device, not applicable for dynamic service braking. Under power-off, shutdown or hydraulic pressure loss conditions, the built-in high-strength spring group automatically drives the clamp jaws to tightly grip the rail head, achieving stable mechanical self-locking and firmly fixing the crane on the track.

When the crane needs to travel, the matched hydraulic power unit provides stable hydraulic pressure to overcome spring preload, push the clamping mechanism to retract the jaws and fully release the rail. Equipped with a precision limit switch, it supports real-time working status signal feedback and electrical interlock with the crane traveling system to avoid misoperation.

Working Principle

Hydraulic Release (Crane Running State)

When the rail crane needs to travel, the supporting hydraulic station is energized to output stable pressure. The hydraulic cylinder pushes the piston to compress the high-strength spring group, drives the clamping jaws to retract and completely separate from the rail head. The limit switch sends a release confirmation signal, the rail clamp is fully unlocked without any clamping resistance, and the crane can travel and work freely.

Spring Clamping (Standby & Storm State)

When the crane stops working, power fails or the hydraulic system loses pressure, the hydraulic release function fails instantly. The pre-compressed high-strength spring group rapidly releases elastic force to push the double jaws to tightly grip the crane rail. A stable 315kN static clamping force is formed to lock the crane position firmly, effectively resisting strong wind impact and preventing equipment drifting, sliding and derailment safety accidents.
