Product Overview

Ed80/12 electro-hydraulic thruster adopts an integrated all-in-one design of motor, hydraulic pump and cylinder body. Different from traditional separate driving structures, this thruster features compact layout and high integration. When energized, the built-in motor drives the hydraulic pump to generate hydraulic pressure, pushing the piston rod to extend and output linear thrust, so as to release the spring-closed brake smoothly.

Once power failure or power cut occurs, the internal hydraulic pressure disappears instantly, and the piston rod retracts automatically under the action of brake spring force, realizing rapid brake reset and emergency braking. With standard IP65 protection grade, low noise operation and strong continuous working capacity, it can adapt to long-term high-frequency cyclic work in harsh industrial environments such as ports, metallurgy and mines.

This thruster is highly universal, perfectly compatible with YWZ, YLB, YFX and other series of brakes and rail clamps, and is a mainstream upgraded replacement for imported EMG ELDRO thrusters.

Working Principle

Energized Working State (Brake Release)

After the thruster is powered on, the built-in motor runs to drive the hydraulic pump to pressurize the internal hydraulic oil. The hydraulic pressure pushes the piston rod to extend steadily and output rated thrust. The thrust acts on the brake lever mechanism to overcome the spring braking force, separate the brake friction parts from the brake drum/disc/rail, and complete the brake release action, allowing the mechanical equipment to operate normally.

Power-off Reset State (Emergency Braking)

When the equipment stops running or the power supply is interrupted, the motor stops working instantly, the internal hydraulic pressure is quickly unloaded. Under the reverse action of the brake spring force, the piston rod retracts rapidly and resets. The brake returns to the closed braking state to realize emergency stop and static locking, ensuring the safety of mechanical equipment.
