ADJUSTABLE MAGNETIC BRAKES

Adjustable magnetic brakes work on the principle of electromagnetic induction and magnetic attraction. When an electric current is passed through a coil of wire (forming an electromagnet), it generates a magnetic field. This magnetic field interacts with a ferromagnetic material (usually a part of the brake assembly), creating a braking force. The strength of this force can be adjusted by varying the current passing through the coil, thus allowing for adjustable braking torque.
