MW (AC electromagnetic) and MWZ (DC electromagnetic) series drum brakes are upgraded industrial electromagnetic brakes optimized to replace traditional TJ2 and JZ models. Equipped with an integrated equal-clearance self-balancing linkage, they solve the common pain point of uneven friction lining wear from unilateral dragging. The optimized shock-absorbing armature structure greatly reduces operating noise. Available in AC direct power supply (MW) and DC low-stable-noise (MWZ) versions, no hydraulic station or air compressor required. When power fails, built-in heavy-duty springs clamp the brake drum instantly for safe locking, widely used for overhead cranes, mining conveyors, metallurgical transport trolleys and workshop winches.
