Overview & Model Decoding

The YWZ5 series is an external (block/drum) electro-hydraulic brake with normally closed (NC) logic: powerful springs hold the shoes against the drum at rest, and the Ed-series thruster extends to retract the shoes and release the brake when energized. Installation dimensions and torque parameters conform to GB6333-1986; technical requirements follow JB/T 6406; the Ed thruster interface is to DIN 15430.

Three naming traps - read before quoting:
① "B30" is NOT a torque value. It is the thruster fitment (Ed30/5). The actual torque is 140–315 N·m, set by spring preload.
② "200" is the wheel diameter, not the torque class. A 200-mm brake can sit at very different torque points under /E23, /E30 or /B30 fitments.
③ The Ex level is NOT encoded in "B30". Whether it is Ex dⅠMb, Ex dⅡB T4 or Ex dⅡC T4 is decided by the certificate unit - it must be selected per the buyer's Zone / gas group / T-class and confirmed against the valid certificate.
