Product Overview

The BEd series is a German EMG Eldro-derived design, locally produced and fully compliant with DIN15430 (international) and GB3836 / JB/T 10603-2006 / Q/ZYBC (national). The BEd50/6 integrates a flameproof motor + centrifugal pump + cylinder in one compact aluminum housing - energized, the impeller builds pressure oil, the piston extends to the preset stroke and holds thrust; de-energized, pressure collapses and the external brake spring retracts the rod.

2.1 Five structural advantages

Non-immersed F-class motor - windings are fully separated from hydraulic oil, eliminating the oil-ageing / burnt-winding failure mode common to the old oil-immersed BYT1 family. The 275 W (Ex dⅡCT4) / 240 W (Ex dⅠ) rating runs hot environments reliably.

Cast aluminum flameproof housing - lighter and with better heat dissipation / corrosion resistance than the cast-iron BYT1, ideal for humid mine tunnels and coastal chemical plants.

Dual Ex coverage - Ex d I Mb for underground coal (methane + coal dust, non-excavation faces); Ex d IIB T4 for IIA / IIB flammable-gas workshops. Full certification files ship with the unit for safety-department filing.

Built-in balance air chamber - internal oil pressure stays balanced in any orientation, enabling 0–180° free mounting (vertical, horizontal, inclined) without the air-lock thrust-loss problem of legacy thrusters. No bracket modification on most retrofits.

IP65 fully sealed - flameproof junction box + waterproof cable gland block mine moisture, coal dust and chemical vapour. Double seals on the shaft and push-rod extend seal life dramatically.

2.2 Where it fits

BEd50/6 is the release thruster for BYWZ, BYWZ4, BYWZ5, BYWZ8/9 and YWZP explosion-proof drum and disc brakes, and through simple lever linkage it also drives reciprocating, rotary and swing (<90°) motions in valves, gates, clamps and conveyors. Typical sites: underground belt conveyors, mine hoists, explosion-proof cranes, coal feeders, coke-oven transfer cars, paint shops, grain elevators, oil refineries and chemical plants.
