YWZ9-300/E30A Spring-Applied Hydraulic-Release Drum Brake
YWZ9-300/E30A is a medium-duty electro-hydraulic drum brake for crane travel, conveyor head pulleys, portal slewing, stacker-reclaimer travel and winch front stages. The suffix A means it is fitted with the M-type automatic lining wear compensator — as the shoe lining wears, the clearance is taken up automatically, so you stop sending people up to adjust the brake every few weeks.

Product Overview
YWZ9-300/E30A is a spring-applied, electro-hydraulically released drum brake. Ed30/5 builds hydraulic pressure, extends the push rod and opens the shoes against the spring. Power off → spring closes the shoes onto the 300 mm drum.
It is a service brake for deceleration and stopping in non-hazardous areas. The A version adds automatic wear compensation on top of the standard YWZ9 service brake. It is not a holding-only safety brake, and not for explosive gas or dust zones - for hazardous areas use the explosion-protected version.
Ambient: −20 °C to +50 °C, RH ≤ 90%, no flammable/explosive/corrosive gas, altitude per GB 755. Humid or corrosive site → order anti-corrosion type (F).
What "A" Actually Means
Non-A YWZ9-300/E30: manual clearance setting, operator re-adjusts as lining wears.
A version YWZ9-300/E30A: built-in M compensator takes up lining wear automatically and holds the set retreat. You still inspect lining and wear limit, but you do not chase clearance every shift.
