DCPZ-250 Series Electromagnetic Disc Brake is a DC normally closed caliper disc brake designed for medium-duty lifting and rotary machinery. It adopts spring braking and DC electromagnetic release principle. When the DC electromagnet is energized, the brake caliper opens to release the brake disc for normal equipment operation. Once power supply fails, built-in disc springs push the caliper to clamp the brake disc instantly to prevent load falling and equipment runaway.

This electromagnetic disc brake features compact overall dimensions, saving installation space compared with drum brakes. DC driving mode ensures smooth action, low mechanical impact and low noise during frequent start-stop operation. The braking torque can be adjusted continuously to match different load demands. Equipped with high wear-resistant friction pads, it maintains stable braking performance under long-term continuous work. The modular structure allows fast replacement of friction pads, effectively lowering maintenance costs.
It is widely adopted as emergency and parking safety brake for overhead cranes, electric hoists, winches and other medium-duty industrial lifting and slewing machinery.
