✔ Zero External Energy - 100% Manual, Foot-Powered: No 380V electricity, no air compressor, no hydraulic power unit. A foot pedal + hydraulic cylinder + spring is the entire actuation system. Works in the middle of a mine, a remote field site, or on a hand-pushed cart where no power exists.
✔ Fail-Safe, Spring-Applied - Foot Off = Brake ON: Normally closed. Heavy-duty main spring holds braking force continuously. Step on pedal → hydraulic pressure overcomes spring → shoes retract and drum runs free. Remove your foot (or the operator falls / leaves) → spring instantly clamps Ø315 drum. The ultimate "dead-man" safety brake.
Products Description
The TYW-315 is a foot-operated, spring-applied, hydraulically released drum brake - the only purely manual / zero-power brake in this entire product family. It exists for one reason: some equipment has wheels and an axle, but no electrical supply, no compressed air, and no hydraulic power pack.
Where every other brake on this page (YW / QW / TJ2 / JZ / MWZ / ZWZA / DCPZ / DJPZ) needs an external power medium, the TYW needs only an operator's foot. This makes it irreplaceable for:
