The safety instruction of YP series electro-hydraulic disc brakes

Sep 29, 2024

In order to ensure the normal operation of the brake and avoid the occurrence of personal injury accidents, the brake design selection and operation and maintenance personnel shall remember and fully understand and observe the following principles and requirements (not limited to this):

A. Newly installed brakes (or liners) without sufficient running and closing operation. Because the brake liner does not fit well with the brake disc, the brake torque may be only half or less of the rated torque;

B. The braking torque of the brake used for the main lift or a similar mechanism shall be at least twice the actual load torque on the brake shaft;

C. Before installing, using or maintaining the brake, carefully read and understand the contents of this manual and strictly follow the methods and steps of this manual;

D. Do not loosen the brake spring at will to ensure that the braking torque of the brake is consistent with the design requirements;

E. Do not allow any grease, paint, grease or other impurities to adhere or spash onto the brake surface of the brake disc and / or brake liner;

F. In the working condition of the brake, the brake disc, brake pad and adjacent parts to avoid the heat burning by the brake; do not touch or approach the rotating brake disc, the coupling joint and / or the shaft; do not let the object fall on the rotating brake disc to prevent the object caused by centrifugal force; add protective cover over the ownership disc and the coupling as much as possible;

G. When the brake is working normally, do not use the manual release lever to open the brake (see Section 4.2 of the manual);

H. Do not approach or enter the lower area of the lifting goods to prevent the sudden failure of the brake and the damage to life or life;

I. Use only the spare parts approved by the Company or the Company;

J. Do not cover the brake signs and warning marks with paint or other dirt.
