BEd301/6 shares the 690×240×112 envelope family with BEd201/6. The difference is internal impeller/pump displacement and thrust, not the outer frame. Always confirm the cert variant + clevis + voltage drawing before fabrication.
5. How it works
Energize → brake release
Flameproof motor spins the centrifugal impeller → hydraulic oil is pushed to the lower chamber → piston & push rod rise → brake lever compresses the brake spring → shoe/disc releases.
De-energize → brake apply
Motor stops, pressure collapses. Brake main spring / load pushes piston down, oil returns to upper chamber, rod retracts, brake closes - fail-safe by system, not by a built-in return spring alone.

9. Installation rules (Ex integrity first)
- Confirm Ex mark on nameplate matches site zone: Ex d I Mb (mine), Ex d IIB T4 (gas), dust cert if applicable.
- Balancing chamber allows 0–180° mount, but rod must remain axial - no radial load.
- Do not field-drill the flameproof enclosure; cable gland must match certified entry size.
- Never open terminal box under voltage ("严禁带电开盖").
- If factory ships without oil: fill DB-25 (std) or low-temp oil, jog rod to bleed air.
- Ground properly; verify insulation before energizing.
