1. Why buyers shortlist BYT1-125Z/10
- Bigger than YT1-90Z/6, still compact: 1250 N vs 900 N, 100 mm vs 60 mm - covers medium drum brakes that a 90Z/6 cannot fully release.
- Flameproof by design: explosion-protected motor + flameproof enclosure; internal arc/ignition is contained, not propagated.
- Integrated actuator: motor + centrifugal pump + cylinder in one sealed body - no external hydraulic station, no long pipe runs.
- Fail-safe by system: Z = no load spring; on de-energize the brake spring pushes the rod back and the brake applies automatically.

5. How it works
Energize → brake release
Flameproof motor spins the centrifugal impeller → oil is pumped to the lower chamber → piston & push rod rise → brake lever compresses the brake spring → shoe/disc releases.
De-energize → brake apply
Motor stops, hydraulic pressure collapses. The brake main spring (or load) pushes the piston down, oil returns to the upper chamber, rod retracts, brake closes automatically.
Z = no self load spring. BYT1-125Z/10 is not a standalone safety brake - it is the explosion-protected drive head of a drum/disc brake, valve, gate or lever mechanism.
