SB50 Safety Brake: Installation Methods & Matching Accessories

SB50 safety brake is mainly installed horizontally, vertical mounting is optional. It needs to be fixed stably with bolts and kept parallel to the brake disc. Standard matching parts include hydraulic station, high-pressure hoses, limit switches and manual release lever. Friction pads and sealing kits are supplied as common spare parts. Custom brackets and explosion-proof parts are available on demand.

1. Installation Methods

• It is designed for assembly on the brake disc of drive shafts, main shafts and reel shafts of industrial machinery.
• Keep the brake body parallel to the brake disc during installation, and ensure uniform gap between friction pads and the disc surface all around.
• Fasten the base firmly with high-strength bolts; avoid vibration and position offset during operation.
• Reserve sufficient space for later inspection, pad replacement and manual release operation.

2. Matching Standard Accessories

Main Supporting Components

1. Hydraulic Power Unit

    

   Special hydraulic station for power supply and pressure regulation, provides stable working hydraulic pressure for normal braking and release.

2. Hydraulic Hoses & Pipe Fittings

    

   High-pressure resistant oil pipes and connectors, connecting the brake and hydraulic station to deliver hydraulic oil.

3. Limit Switches

    

   Detect brake opening and closing status, feed back signals to the control system for interlock protection.

4. Manual Release Device

    

   Hand lever for emergency brake release when power or hydraulic pressure fails, convenient for equipment maintenance.
