●Usage of QP Air Disc Brake

QP series pneumatic disc brakes are widely used for parking brake or deceleration brake of small and medium-sized drive mechanisms.

In the case of brakes using brake pads, such as water and grease on the body, it is easy to attach the friction surface, which significantly reduces the torque. Therefore, the abnormal operation of the machine may be the cause of injury, so please design it to be free of water and oil.

Purpose and use of adjusting screw:

After the brake pads are worn, the braking force of the brake will be reduced. In order to maintain a certain braking force, the adjusting screw must be used. The adjustment effect of the adjusting screw is used to achieve the compensation effect of the friction plate, which not only solves the problem of maintaining the braking force but also the sufficient friction of the friction plate. When using the adjusting screw, first make the brake fully open. When the brake is released, loosen the tightening nut on the adjusting screw, leave the gap between the friction disk and the friction plate, and then tighten the nut.

Use and method of anti-sway:

The anti-sway device is mainly used for the first installation adjustment. The anti-sway device can correct a small amount of tilting installation, and cooperate with the return spring when the brake is open, so that the left and right swing arms can return to both sides of the friction disc, and the gap between the friction plate and the friction disc can be guaranteed to be the same. When using anti-sway, the length of the anti-sway screw should be adjusted under the premise that the brake is fully opened and there is sufficient clearance between the friction disk and the friction plate, so that the screw can bear against the swing arm to achieve the effect. This device is particularly important when the brakes are installed horizontally. When the brake is not installed in a horizontal installation, the use of anti-sway can effectively solve the friction caused by the weight of the air head.

The purpose and use of the calibration device:

  The correction device is designed to prevent friction from being parallel. When the thickness of the friction plate is up or down, it can be adjusted by the correction device. One disc is used to adjust the parallel and opening gap between the friction plate and the friction disc synchronously with the adjusting screw.
