YWZ4 Series Electro-hydraulic drum brakes: Installation Methods & Matching Accessories

YWZ4 electro-hydraulic drum brakes are normally installed vertically, with horizontal mounting optional. It is mainly equipped with YT1/ED series electro-hydraulic thrusters, manual release lever and limit switches. Friction linings and adjusting bolts are regular wearing parts. Flameproof components, custom brackets and dust covers are available as optional parts for different working conditions.

Installation Methods & Matching Accessories

1. Installation Methods

• Mount the brake firmly on the base or bracket with high-strength bolts, and keep the two brake shoes symmetrically aligned with the brake drum.
• Ensure uniform clearance between friction linings and the drum surface all around after installation to avoid dragging or uneven wear.
• Reserve enough space around the unit for routine inspection, friction lining replacement and manual release operation.
• Keep the matched electro-hydraulic thruster vertically upright as required to guarantee normal lubrication and operation.

2. Standard Matching Accessories

Main Supporting Components

1. Electro-hydraulic thruster

    

   Core driving part, standard matched with YT1 or ED series thrusters to realize brake opening and closing.

2. Manual release lever

    

   Used for emergency brake release during power failure or equipment maintenance.

3. Limit switches

    

   Detect the brake working status and transmit feedback signals to the control system for interlock protection.
