YW-L200/E30 Electro-Hydraulic Brake
✔ Highest Torque on Ø200 Drum - 280 N·m
Among all Ø200mm drum brakes in the YW series, YW-L200/E30 delivers the maximum braking torque: 250–280 N·m, 40% higher than YWZ8-200/E30 (200N·m) on the same wheel. Achieved by re-engineered long-stroke lever + Ed30/5 thruster (30kgf) + heavier main spring. No need to jump to a bigger Ø250 frame.
✔ Long-Stroke Lever - Smoother Engagement Under Load
The "L" stands for longer effective stroke. Shoes approach the drum over a longer arc, spreading the kinetic energy absorption. Less impact spike, less drum scoring, shorter stopping distance on high-inertia loads. Ideal for full-load emergency stops.
✔ Fail-Safe, Spring-Applied - Power Off = Brake On
Normally closed. Main spring stores braking force; Ed30/5 thruster only to OPEN. On power loss, both shoes clamp Ø200 drum instantly. Zero external energy for stopping - the safest setup for heavy lifting and conveying.

The YW-L200/E30 is the high-torque, long-stroke variant of the Ø200mm drum brake family. Where YWZ9 (160N·m) and YWZ8 (200N·m) stop, YW-L keeps going - up to 280 N·m on the same wheel diameter.
It is engineered for one specific job: stopping large inertial loads safely and quickly - full belt conveyors, 10t-class hoists, mine winders, drawworks. The longer lever stroke means the brake absorbs energy over more time and distance, reducing peak stress on the drum and gearbox.
