2. Working Principle (Normally Closed Fail-Safe Type)

It adopts classic spring-applied normally closed structure:

Power-off braking (standby/parking): When power is cut off or equipment stops running, the E30 thruster retracts its pushrod under internal spring force. Main brake springs pull the linkage to clamp two brake shoes tightly on the Φ200 brake drum to form braking torque and lock rotating parts.

Power-on release (equipment running): Once energized, E30 thruster extends pushrod to overcome spring preload, driving brake shoes to separate from brake drum; the drum rotates freely without friction resistance.

Emergency safety protection: Automatically brakes instantly under sudden power failure to avoid accidental slipping of loads.

4. Structural Features

Light cast aluminum/optimized thin-wall cast steel brake pedestal: Compact outline, greatly reduced weight for limited installation space.

Standard E30 thruster: Small size, fast response and stable hydraulic output.

External clearance adjusting screw: Convenient to adjust the gap between lining and drum without dismantling brake body.

Replaceable independent friction linings: Short maintenance time for lining replacement.

All hinge points with self-lubricating bushings to reduce daily lubrication work.
