BEd80/6 is a flameproof (Exd I Mb / Exd II CT4) compact electro‑hydraulic thruster for explosive hazardous areas (coal mines, chemical plants, oil/gas). It's the explosion‑protected variant of the ED series, with a sealed cast‑aluminum flameproof enclosure for all electrical parts.

2. Working Principle
Same as standard ED series, but with flameproof construction:
Power ON: Motor drives centrifugal pump, builds pressure, extends rod (800 N, 60 mm) to release brake.
Power OFF: Pressure drops, brake spring retracts rod, applies brake (fail‑safe).
Flameproof design: Contains internal sparks; prevents ignition of external explosive gas/dust.
