QP Series Fail-Safe Air Loss Lock Pneumatic Disc Brake
QP series pneumatic disc brake is a spring-applied fail-safe caliper brake specially designed for outdoor port machinery and inclined belt conveyors. Different from CQP normally-open air brakes, QP relies on compressed air to open the brake pads; once air pressure drops, pipeline fails or air supply shuts down, powerful built-in springs immediately clamp the brake disc tightly. It delivers strong static holding torque to lock equipment steadily, solving the hidden danger of trolley sliding caused by strong coastal winds for RTG and outdoor conveyors. The open disc structure brings superior heat dissipation compared with traditional drum brakes, suitable for long-term continuous heavy-duty operation.
