QW/QWZ5 pneumatic drum brake

QW and QWZ5 series pneumatic drum brakes are air-driven spring-closed safety brakes specially developed for outdoor port machinery with stable compressed air supply. Different from electro-hydraulic brakes, they rely on factory compressed air to push the cylinder and release the brake; once air pressure drops or the air supply fails, built-in heavy-duty springs immediately clamp the brake drum to realize reliable windproof parking locking. They are widely matched with outdoor gantry cranes, rubber-tyred container gantry cranes (RTG), yard trolleys and ship loading & unloading equipment in open-air port yards exposed to strong crosswinds.
