Hydraulic Caliper Disc Brake

SBD-D series hydraulic caliper disc brake is a kind of hydraulic safety (emergency) brake. It is a high-power braking device used on the low-speed shaft (drum shaft).

It can be used for emergency safety braking of low-speed shaft of large and medium-sized cranes, port loading and unloading machinery and boom tilting mechanism. It can also be used for working braking and emergency safety braking of mine winch, hoist and high-power inclined belt conveyor, safety braking of driving mechanism of cable car and cable crane, and safety (emergency) braking of low-speed shaft of hoisting mechanism of special crane such as casting crane.

Features

1. Normally closed design.

2. A special disc spring applies force to brake, and a hydraulic drive release device is required.

3. Sensitive action and short closing time.

4. Optional switches such as gate opening limit, gasket wear, and limit limit. Interlock protection and fault display can be performed (when PLC control is used).

5. Non-asbestos hard friction pad, stable friction coefficient. It does not damage the brake disc and is insensitive to water media and salt spray (sea water).

6. Reasonable sealing structure design and imported seals, good effect and long life.

7. Flexible installation location, easy to use, adjust and maintain.

Adjustment of the initial installation brake

The brake should be inspected and adjusted as follows before use after the initial installation:

⑴ Adjustment of clearance.

⑵ Adjustment of switch.

Warning: Before making any adjustments to the brake, make sure that the braked mechanism will not accidentally rotate and cause an accident!
