YLZ25 Model Hydraulic Wheel Braking System

Working Principle

When the operator applies force to the brake pedal or lever, the master cylinder is activated. This action increases the hydraulic pressure within the system. The pressurized hydraulic fluid then travels through the hydraulic lines to the brake cylinders. In the brake cylinders, the hydraulic pressure is converted into mechanical force, which pushes the brake pads (or shoes) against the brake discs (or drums). The friction generated between the braking surfaces slows down or stops the rotation of the wheels, thereby achieving the braking effect. Once the braking force is released, springs or hydraulic pressure relief mechanisms in the system return the brake components to their original positions, allowing the wheels to rotate freely again.
