Description
The ZYTJX-250 is a hydraulic rail clamp - it does not brake a wheel with friction shoes. Instead, a disc-spring (diaphragm-spring) stack normally squeezes a hardened jaw pair onto both sides of the rail head; hydraulic pressure releases the jaw so the crane travels. Pressure loss, power loss, E-stop, or a burst hose → the jaws instantly bite the rail and lock the machine to the track. It is the anti-slip parking & storm-parking device for outdoor rail-mounted equipment - and the natural hydraulic upgrade of the YFX storm wedge.
🔴 Key Selling Points
Clamps the Rail Head - Not the Wheel. Hardened jaw blocks grip the sides / top of the rail head directly (QU70 / QU80 / QU100, 50–60 kg/m rails). Independent of wheel condition, rim hardness, tyre wear, or brake-drum fit - the rail is the anchor.
Spring-Applied, Hydraulically Released - NC Fail-Safe. Disc springs hold the jaws closed with 60–120 kN. Hydraulic pressure (central station or local cylinder) opens them. Any failure - blackout, pressure drop, valve fault, hose rupture - the jaws lock on. Dead-man, by design.
Anti-Slip + Anti-Runback in ONE Device. A storm wedge (YFX) only resists horizontal wind push. ZYTJX resists wind AND grade runback AND startup impact - because it bites the rail head with a controllable, repeatable clamping force.
Adjustable Force & Long-Term Holding.
Clamping force follows spring preload × jaw lever ratio and is adjustable. The jaw can hold for hours or days without consuming energy (spring only) - no "wedge chewing the rail" problem during long parking.
1 · Product Overview
The ZYTJX-250 Series is a normally closed, spring-applied, hydraulically released rail clamp. "ZYTJX" = (驻车/制动) hydraulic rail (轨) clamp (夹); "250" = size 250 (Ø250-class clamping mechanism, 60–120 kN per unit). It is a safety-parking device, not a service brake - it holds a parked machine to the rail; it does not decelerate a moving load.
It is the hydraulic, rail-biting evolution of two older ideas:
vs YFX storm wedge (iron wedge under the wheel): YFX wedges between wheel and rail, resists wind only, and wears the rail/wheel on long parking. ZYTJX bites the rail head directly with adjustable force, resists wind + grade, and can hold indefinitely.
vs YLZ40 hydraulic service brake: YLZ40 clamps a wheel/drum to stop motion (service braking). ZYTJX clamps the rail to prevent parked motion (safety parking). They are complementary, never substitutes.
