1. Installation Methods

YZ series compact hydraulic power units are supporting hydraulic source equipment for rail clamps, hydraulic wheel brakes, windproof brakes and various hydraulic caliper braking devices. Horizontal floor-mounted installation is the standard form, wall-mounted and vertical rack-mounted brackets can be customized according to on-site layout.

Standard Horizontal Floor Mounting

Place the power unit on a flat, solid concrete foundation or equipment base frame. Tighten the bottom fixing bolts to eliminate shaking during operation; add anti-vibration rubber pads between the unit and base to reduce vibration and noise transmission.

Keep the tank horizontal to ensure the oil level gauge displays accurate liquid height, avoiding oil suction emptying or oil overflow.

Route high-pressure hydraulic hoses with gentle bends, without sharp folding or excessive tension; align oil inlet and outlet ports with the brake/clamp oil circuit to prevent reverse oil flow.

Reserve sufficient maintenance space on the side of the oil tank for oil filling, oil draining, filter replacement and valve group overhaul.

The motor and electrical control box shall be arranged on the upper side, away from splashing water, falling dust and corrosive liquid.

Optional Wall / Vertical Rack Mounting

For limited ground space such as crane electrical rooms and trolley cabinets, custom L-shaped wall brackets or vertical mounting frames are available.

After hanging installation, recheck the tank horizontal level with a level gauge;

Reinforce pipe joints with fixing clamps to avoid pipeline loosening caused by pump vibration.

Key Installation & Commissioning Requirements

Before startup, inject designated anti-wear hydraulic oil into the tank to the range marked on the liquid level gauge (between min and max scale).

Complete circuit wiring according to the wiring diagram; set pressure regulating valve to the rated working pressure of the matched brake equipment, avoid overpressure damage to brake cylinders.

Perform air bleeding for the whole oil circuit after assembly to eliminate delayed clamping action caused by residual air.

Check all pipe thread joints and flange surfaces for oil leakage; tighten loose fittings in time.

Ambient requirements: Avoid long-term exposure to rain and heavy dust; outdoor use must be equipped with a sealed protective cabinet.
